Spring Student Organization Fair

The Spring Student Organization Fair is an opportunity for organizations to begin their spring recruitment efforts. This is a great chance for students to explore various student organizations at UT and get involved on campus.

2025 Spring Student Organization Fair Information

The 2025 Spring Student Organization Fair will take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in the William C. Powers, Jr. Student Activity Center (WCP) and will consist of 2 sessions.

Session 1

• 10 a.m. - Check-in (WCP 2.210)
• 11 a.m. – Fair Starts
• 1 p.m. – Fair Ends

Session 2

• 1 p.m. – Check-in (WCP 2.210)
• 2 p.m. – Fair Starts
• 4 p.m. – Fair Ends

Online Registration

• Opens at 10 a.m. on January 16, 2025
• Closes at 5 p.m. on January 24, 2025
• Log into HornsLink to register (RSVP).
• Student Organizations must be ACTIVE on HornsLink in order to register (RSVP).
• There will be a limited number of tables at this event, so register early to ensure your organization has a spot.
• ORGS CAN ONLY REGISTER FOR 1 SESSION.
• ONLY 1 STUDENT FROM EACH ORG NEEDS TO REGISTER.

Each participating organization will be provided with one table and two chairs. Only the tables and chairs provided may be used at this event. No more than two representatives may staff the table at any given time.

The Student Organization Fair is a Student Activities sponsored event that student organizations are invited to join. Thus, we reserve the right to determine whether student organization activities in our event are a fitting representation of the Office of the Dean of Students.

Summer Student Organization Fairs

The Summer Student Organization Fairs, hosted in partnership with New Student Services, are an exciting opportunity for student organizations to meet new students and participate in summer orientation. Each opportunity helps introduce your student organization to new students and create an engaging and welcoming environment for new Longhorns!

2024 Summer Student Organization Fair Information

• A student organization fair will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the second day of each freshman orientation session in the William C. Powers Student Activity Center (WCP).
• Online registration is open for all active student organizations.
• Please log into HornsLink to register (RSVP) for each fair you would like to table at. *ONLY 1 STUDENT FROM EACH ORG NEEDS TO REGISTER.

New Student Orientation Student Organization Socials

New Student Orientation Student Organization Socials are an opportunity for active student organizations to host their own unique event on the first day of each freshman orientation. The socials are a great opportunity to showcase your organization and connect with incoming students. The event is open to all freshmen during their new student orientation.

Requirements for New Student Orientation Student Organization Socials

• The activity must be held on campus. Space will be assigned in order to prevent conflicts.
• The activity must be alcohol free.
• The activity must be held at least 3 sessions of freshman orientation. (There are 7 sessions total).
• The organization must have at least 5 members available to lead the activity each session (to accommodate the large number of students that will be at orientation).
• The organization must be prepared to cover all costs of the activity. No funding will be provided. Materials, such as stationary supplies and first-aid items, may be provided upon request.

Party on the Plaza

Party on the Plaza (POP) is a welcome-back-to-campus party for the entire UT community hosted by RecSports. This exciting event includes a student organization fair, where students can meet representatives from over 300 student organizations and learn the many ways you can get involved on campus!
